SOUTH AFRICA VS NEW ZEALAND 01/08/09
After watching the south africa, new zealand first test in bloemfontien, one would be forgiven thinking the second test down in durban (at sea level) which would have helped the all blacks put up a better showing, would be a far closer affair, but could they possibly have played any worse then they did in the space of just one week, seems so for a team lined with quaily players as they have at there disposal, and which any other international team could only dream of having. So then begs the ? what went wrong or whats going wrong, maybe im being to premature in writing the all blacks off this season, dont get me a wrong behind the springboks i would cheer for the all blacks any day they have all ways played great rugby against most teams. the other side of the ? is our team (the springboks) are they that gud that they have taken care fo the lions have a world cup and now want another tri nations cup to complete a great last few years. i for one am glad Mr coach him self has stopped messing with combination and settle on what possibly the best side in ages maybe one or to on the bench still ask ? but if he keeps winning whos going to argue right, i feel sorry for poor wynaad olivier who seems to be a jo jo at the moment and and out the test squad, i think if we not carefull he will be another player applying his trade up north watch this space.
back to the part about the rugby being really bad from a rugby point of few not many constructive plays took place and not sure i even saw the wings getting the ball from a set move, the all black wings and fullback tried to get things going but from so many bad postion on the field it was just making things worse, it was a great defensive team display that won us the game, shame well enoung about that im sure they know after watching the video how bad they played so dont right them off just yet, bring on the aussie and go bokke
